Looking for fun ideas for your virtual hen or stag do? We’ve got 9 games from the experts at Chillisauce, to help get the party started!
While the Pandemic has put a pause on many events, including hen and stag dos, it is still possible to have a fun event with your favourites, by simply utilising the technology you have to hand. The stag and hen experts at chillisauce.com have compiled the below list of interactive games that you can play on a virtual hen and stag do…
Mr & Mrs
Rope in the bride or groom to be beforehand in order to get their answers, and then test the hen or stag during the virtual event to see just how well they know their betrothed.
Who’s Who?
While this game usually involves writing down a fact about yourself, putting them into a pile and having to guess out loud which fact belongs to who, you can make the game more interesting by sharing out loud facts you know about the others on the virtual party and the other members have to guess who it is (except for the person who the fact is about).
This is also the perfect time to share your most debaucherous memories that wouldn’t be suitable for a Best Man’s wedding speech in front of a large crowd.
Never Have I Ever
This be can be as safe or risqué as you’d like the game to be (depending on what relatives and age groups may be involved). Going around the group, one person says “Never Have I Ever…” followed by a statement of something they either have or haven’t done. Everyone who has done the thing in question must drink, and then it’s on to the next person to pick a statement. It’s a quick way to find out many things about your group of friends whilst getting merry.
Virtual House Pub Crawl
Every home has a few basic rooms; living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, so plan a theme for each room and, as a group, move between rooms and do something different. That might be drinking certain drinks, dressing up with various accessories, listening to a certain style of music or otherwise. Get as creative as you wish to.
How Well Do You Know The Hen/Stag? Quiz
Beforehand the virtual hen or stag do, everyone can offer a list of questions to the hen or stag that they think would be a good inclusion to the quiz. It’s then down to the future betrothed to read the questions out loud and get everyone to write down their answers – tallying up at the end who has won and who, therefore, knows the hen or stag the best.
Picolo
This is a fantastic app to download (or you can play online); you simply enter everyone’s names and press play. There are many booze-related tasks and funny questions that will be sure to get the whole party merry and falling around in fits of giggles in no time. There are various modes to play depending on who is in the group and how well you all know each other, including The Getting Started Mode, The Hot Mode, The Bar Mode (although this is best for when in a real bar) and The Silly Mode.
Houseparty
Assuming there are no more than eight people in the hen or stag group, Houseparty is a fantastic app to get everyone together, and the app features fun games such as Quick Draw!, Heads Up! and various themed Trivia quizzes.
Cards Against Humanity
If there’s up to six of you in the party, and you all have access to a computer, you can head over to playingcards.io, down to ‘Remote Insensitivity’ and then click to ‘Start Game’. The computer doesn’t automate any of the game, so you still need to manually dish out the cards, select between your cards and so on, but this simply adds to the authenticity of the game.
Virtual Escape Room
If there are more than 15 of you, why not take on our virtual escape room? A member of staff will deliver a live feed from the escape room and you and your hens or stags will have to guide them to get out of the room in the set amount of time. The member of staff will not act on their own accord; you will need to instruct them to do everything. This activity requires quick thinking, haste and will be great fun for all parties.
