If your wedding plans have been scuppered by COVID-19, the owner’s of a 200 acre farm on the outskirts of Manchester have a kind offer for you…
Featuring wildflower pastures and ancient woodland, Zymshire is a hidden valley just outside of the city centre of Manchester, making the perfect setting for a socially distanced wedding.
The farm, which is just off the M60, on the outskirts of the Peak district national park, is stunning and almost entirely hidden from civilisation.
As the government is looking at changing the regulations to allow outdoor weddings, the owners of Manchester’s first gin distillery – Zymurgorium – are offering their 200 acre farm as the perfect outdoor hidden hideaway venue.
The owners are kindly offering the site completely free of charge to anyone who has lost a venue for a wedding in 2020 or 2021.
Aaron Darke, owner of Zymurgorium, said;
We have been struck by so many people telling us that they can’t have the wedding of their dreams anymore because of COVID-19 and the closure of so many venues. I have spoken to a few who have lost their deposits and we would love to help anyone in this situation. We have loads of space and the farm would make a beautiful backdrop for an outdoor wedding.
Anyone wanting to use the site will need some imagination and to bring in their own infrastructure until the site is developed but it is a fantastic option for someone looking to do something special in the new norm.
If you’d like to take up this kind offer, get in touch now on 0161 5498994. You will need to show that they have lost a venue and a deposit to quality for free hire.
