Hosting a complementary luxury wedding package at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane hotel, we share (another!) Harry and Megan’s story…
From one fairytale wedding to another, we saw this and thought of you, dear reader. Ahead of tomorrow’s royal wedding – and because our hearts are fit to bursting with the sheer romance of this story – we hear how Harry and Megan won the wedding of their dreams…
In February 2018 London’s five-star Sheraton Grand London Park Lane hotel announced they would be offering a complementary luxury wedding package to one lucky couple who share the same names as Prince Harry and his bride to be, Meghan Markle.
Following a nationwide search, Harry Hindley and Megan Morley received a wonderful call, asking them if they’d like to use the stunning art deco hotel for their special day.
Both born and raised in Nottingham, the young couple (22 and 21 respectively) met at Clarendon College in 2011 where they were both studying performing arts and starred in a number of productions together.
Then after completing their college course, they went on to do more intense performing arts training together, before deciding to join forces and launch a business together, teaching classes in Singing, Dance and Acting to children from ages 3 to 16.
The company, named Copper Studios, has since gone from strength to strength. They have their own premises in central Nottingham, employ a team of staff and teach 170 kids.
A parent of one of their students flagged an article she’d seen on the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane’s offer of a ‘Royal’ wedding and shared it with the couple. Although they weren’t yet engaged, Harry and Megan both knew they were ready to tie the knot having built their lives together so far. And so they applied.
A fortnight later, the wedding team called Harry to let him know they’d love to help the couple with their big day, so he decided he needed to propose to Megan in a really special way…
March 2018 marked five years since the couple first got together so, under the pretence of doing something nice for their anniversary, Harry took Megan to the woods near their house where he had hung up little signs on trees with key dates in their relationship. When they got to the end, Harry got down on one knee and proposed to Megan – and she of course said yes! He then asked her to turn around where the final sign was for 4th May 2018 and she knew immediately what that meant: they would be marrying in five-star luxury, with full complements of the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane!
Impossible not to read without a smile on your face, and we’re very happy for Megan and her own prince charming, Harry! To see more of this incredible five-star venue, visit sheratonparklane.com.
