Looking for wedding decoration inspiration? Look no further than our fabulous real weddings! We’ve picked out some of our favourite decorative details from real Love Our Wedding brides…
Nicola and Josh’s photo letters
Decorative letters add a lovely personal touch to a guestbook table or an empty corner, but this creative couple went one step further by using decoupage to decorate their initials with photographs of the two of them together! Decor that doubles up as a homage to the couple always goes down well in our books. See the whole wedding here.
Heather and Danny’s sweet table
Sweet buffets are always popular at weddings, and can act as a decorative feature of the room as well as a yummy treat for your guests! We love how Heather and Danny included vintage-style sweet jars and cute ‘Mr & Mrs’ paper bags as part of their table. See the whole wedding here.
Kate and Ben’s colourful touches
This colourful couple really brought the wow factor for their tipi wedding, with bold and bright bunting and paper lanterns hanging between tables, as well as colour-coordinated napkins. Touches like this don’t have to cost the Earth and can easily be DIYed, but can make all the difference to your wedding decor. See the whole wedding here.
Melissa and Simon’s guestbook
To give your guestbook a real vintage feel, why not take a leaf out of Melissa and Simon’s book (sorry) by setting up an antique typewriter for guests. It’ll act as a decorative focal point (especially if you set up a pretty sign to ask guests to leave their message) and makes it easy to frame your messages later. See the whole wedding here.
Sunny and Danny’s centrepieces
These centrepieces go to show that simple can definitely be chic! This glam couple chose sleek white tulips for their flowers, and played up the sparkle with table mirrors, crystals and clear tealight holders. We love their minimal white table numbers, too! See the whole wedding here.
Stacey and Nigel’s cake
Rustic brides will love Stacey and Nigel’s gorgeous cake table! They placed their naked wedding cake on a personalised wood slice, on top of a barrel decorated with faux flowers and fairy lights. The cake itself was decorated with pretty fresh flowers and a mini bunting topper. Beautiful! See the whole wedding here.
Louise and Sam’s table settings
This table setting has to be one of our favourites from our weddings! The table was laid with an antique gold sequin tablecloth for a luxe feel, and each guest had a modern chevron napkin and a laser cut name tag, which we think would double up wonderfully as a favour! See the whole wedding here.
Katie and Byron’s table
If your budget stretches to it, then a standalone piece like this can really add to your wedding decor! There are plenty of hire companies that will lend you some vintage-style furniture for the day, and then it’s just a case of adding personal touches to match your theme. See the whole wedding here.
