New Year, new bridal body beautiful! Fit and fabulous is just a spin class away with this brilliant new bridal exercise idea…
Now let’s be honest with one another, dear reader. You and I, you see, we have no secrets. I’ll tell you how many mince pies I ate in one sitting if you do… ready? We’ll both go together on three: one, two, three… EIGHT! (I know, I know. Completely brilliant; ’tis truly a talent of mine.) So perhaps there is a teensy tiny chance we – you and I – could be in need of some post-Christmas austerity. But do we have to? I mean, exercise is so boring…! And that’s where I tell you about the fabulous new bridal exercise for 2018 being trailed in Taunton: The Spin Bus.
It’s brilliant on every level. Just listen to this: the hassle with working out is that it can be a mission to get to the gym/class in the first place. The ridiculously toned people at The Spin Bus have done their homework and have targeted high-profile (and easily accessible) locations around the Taunton area and bring the gym to you. Their buses have been converted into ‘mobile spin studios’ accommodating twelve state-of-the-art bikes… on a bus! You rock it on out to some awesome tunes for forty-five minutes in something approaching a disco-like setting with glitter balls and everything!
If I’m absolutely honest with you: of course it’s hard. And it hurts. But it’s supposed to be hard – it’s the hard that makes it great; it’s the hard that gets results. That beautiful bridal bod won’t tone itself, ladies. The lovely instructor Helen had me whipped into shape in just four weeks (and she was dealing with a mindset that saw ‘four magnums on the bounce before lunch’ as the cornerstone to any nutritious diet). Suddenly I know what hamstrings are.
I love that you can do this with eleven of your girlies and have a right royal giggle (an awesome new hen idea, me thinks!). I love that you start to see and feel results almost immediately. I love how you lie through your teeth when your instructor asks what level you’re on. I love that you can belt out a bangin’ Bruno Mars tune and no one judges. I love that you feel invincible every time you finish a forty-five minute session. I love its empowering ethos and celebratory nature: we women are truly magnificent creatures (this is the mantra you take away with you).
With no joining fees and no contracts, just pay and ride as you go or have an unlimited membership, this could be the perfect post-Christmas bridal exercise regime for you. Check out thespinbus.co.uk for more information.
