Loved Pippa Middleton’s wedding style? Here are our top picks for getting a royal wedding-inspired bridal look!
The dress
By far the most-discussed part of the look was Pippa’s wedding dress – on the day, the bride wore a stunning Giles Deacon design in intricate floral lace, with a vintage-inspired high neck, short sleeves, full A-line skirt and a cut-out detail in the back.
The high neck combined with a cap sleeve is an unusual neckline for bridal gowns this season, so they may be difficult to come by in your local boutique, but with a little searching you’ll find that a fair few designers include this elegant cut in their collections. Our suggestions include Phil Collins, Casablanca Bridal and Mark Lesley.

The veil
To complement her show-stopping lace dress, Pippa wore a bespoke Stephen Jones wedding veil, which was a tulle waist-length design studded with delicate pearls. You don’t have to go custom to get a veil this gorgeous, though – the Early Pearl veil from Rainbow Club is a 30 inch veil with scattered pearl detail, and costs just £85.
The hair
To show off the beautiful high neckline of her couture gown, Pippa had her hair styled in a swept-up romantic updo. Mathew Soobroy, Principal Stylist at Charles Worthington Salons, tells us how to get the look in a step-by-step guide:
“First, set the hair with rollers to create natural volume. Leaving out the top and side sections of the hair, tie the back section of hair into a low ponytail, leaving a side parting at the front. Section the ponytail into 4 or 5 individual sections, then backcomb each one with a brush to add more volume. Roll each section towards the head and secure with pins, placing them randomly to create a texture bun effect. Pull the top and side parts of the hair back and into the bun you have created. Add your hair accessories and finish with hair spray.”
The jewellery
Speaking of hair accessories, we love the ornate tiara that Pippa wore on the day: a handmade Maidenhair Fern diamond tiara by Robinson Pelham. It perfectly matched her diamond drop earrings, also by Robinson Pelham, which were the same pair she wore when performing her bridesmaid duties for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge back in 2011.
To find a tiara worthy of royalty, our top pick has to be Ivory & Co. We love the Nikita tiara from their Contemporary collection, £85, which has a similar elegant feel to Pippa’s without the hefty price tag! For earrings, try Glitzy Secrets for a huge range of crystal drop styles, like their Classic Starlet Earrings for £24.
