If you’re looking for something a little different from classic grey or black, then these blue wedding suits could be perfect for your groom!
As couples start to put their own stamp on their wedding style, more and more grooms are eschewing traditional black or charcoal for their suits, and are instead opting for coloured suits. We’re seeing a rise in popularity for jewel tones such as deep burgundy and forest green, as well as lighter shades like tan and champagne, but our favourite coloured suit has to be blue.

Depending on which shade your h2b chooses (and there are plenty!), blue wedding suits can be traditional, unusual, or somewhere in-between. A classic navy suit is the easiest to wear, and works well with practically any wedding theme or season. For a traditional look, simply pair with a white shirt and tan brogues – any tie will go with this look, but we particularly like a pale blue. For a black-tie take on the trend, swap the tan for black and add black accents, such as a bow-tie and dark lapels. For the perfect modern day wedding look, try a pink shirt!

A mid-blue or royal blue suit is becoming increasingly popular too, with good reason. It works well in the Summer months, and adds a brighter pop of colour to the wedding party without looking too garish or out-there – perfect for fashion-conscious grooms. We love to contrast a mid-blue or royal blue wedding suit with a rich red or burgundy tie, or for a quirkier wedding, a paisley or floral pattern works well too.

The idea of a powder blue suit can strike fear into the hearts of men and women alike, but if your groom is confident in his style, then a pale blue suit can be suprisingly easy to pull off! Lighter colours like these work well for Summer or destination weddings, so we say keep it light with pastel coloured accessories, such as a mint green or a coral.
