This Spring, MAC Cosmetics is launching 10 collaboration lipsticks with influencers from all around the globe – including British YouTube star, Fleur de Force!
When we first heard that beauty vlogger Fleur de Force would be creating a lipstick as part of an influencer collaboration with MAC, we were VERY excited – not least because Fleur has excellent taste in makeup, as evidenced by her 1.4 million subscribers on YouTube. We also predicted that the shade Fleur would create would be a flattering nude neutral (her favourite type of shade to wear), and we were not wrong!
The new MAC Fleur de Force lipstick is a stunning brown-based nude with a hint of flattering pink that’s the perfect ‘your lips but better’ shade. It’s formulated in MAC’s super-popular Cremesheen finish, which are moisturising and slightly glossy on the lips while still having a good amount of pigment. These finishes are perfect for bridal makeup, as they’re comfortable to wear, don’t dry your lips out, and wear off evenly (rather than flaking away like some liquid or matte formulas).
As well as Fleur, MAC have also collaborated with GLAMOUR magazine’s beauty director Alessandra Steinherr as part of the project, and we love Alessandra’s shade too! It’s a lighter pink-based nude in MAC’s Lustre finish, which means it’s glossier and sheerer than the Cremesheen formula, but still super-comfortable and easy to wear.
Both these lipsticks are available now at maccosmetics.co.uk (be quick, they’re limited edition!). You can also find Fleur’s lipstick in-store at Selfridges from 10th May, and Alessandra’s lipstick in-store at Harvey Nichols from 10th May.
