Professional wedding make-up artist, Becky Flynn, reveals how you can create this glam look for your big day…
For this wedding make-up look, keep the eye shadow colours fairly neutral. Start with a wash of colour such as MAC Naked Lunch and then to add a little depth, one of my most-used colours is MAC Satin Taupe. For the liner use a powder, gel or liquid liner for a bold, crisp line. My favourites are Maybelline Master Precise liner and Bobbi Brown gel liner. Draw a thin line along your lash line, making it a little thicker on the outer edge, then mark a dot where you’d like the wing to end. Wing the liner out and have a cotton bud on hand to clean it up, leaving the line precise.
This look has defined eyebrows, which make such a difference to your look. I use powder for eyebrows – Arbonne Sand and MAC Coquette. If you’d prefer a pencil product, Soap & Glory have a great product called Archery 2-in-1 Brow Pencil.
Focus on creating a beautifully flawless complexion. Pick a foundation that works nicely with your skin type and then either set it with some powder or a setting spray, like Rimmel Stay Matte or alternatively the Urban Decay setting sprays. For a pop of colour, try something like MAC melba blusher.
I always start with a lip liner like MAC Redd. For the red lipstick, there is a red to suit everybody! Some of my favourite reds are Lancome Rouge in Love 170N, Dior Diorific 038, MAC Ladybug & MAC Russian Red. Apply this with a lip brush and you will get a cleaner application.
