Professional bridal make-up artist, Becky Flynn, reveals how you can create this pretty look for your big day…
The eyes aren’t the main focus of this look, so use enough product to make them sparkle but don’t look heavy. Keep them natural by using colours from the Urban Decay Naked palette. I’d then go for some lengthening mascara and leave it there.
The eyebrows are very natural and have a perfectly un-groomed feel to them. I would simply pop some brow gel through them – I love Maybelline Brow Drama because it has a little colour in it, so adds some soft definition.
This look is very polished. My favourite foundation to use is Face Atelier Ultra. Keep it to a light-medium coverage and then use a little brush with concealer to go over any areas that need extra coverage. I would then use an Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder all over the skin to create the soft focus. To add a little bit of warmth to the face, use a big fluffy brush to apply some bronzer to the high points (forehead, cheekbones, nose). I love the Body Shop Bronzing Powders for this. The cheek colour is so delicate. My most used blusher would be perfect to create this look – Illamasqua Naked Rose. It’s such a beautiful shade with no shimmer and suits many skin tones.
Similarly to the cheeks, the lips are a beautifully delicate colour. My favourite lip liner for a more natural lip is Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk. Choose a lipstick in a soft pink shade. One of my favourites is the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Pale Pink.
